People on a keto diet usually avoid grains and this makes both the diets appear similar. But the keto diet is not strictly gluten-free. Some keto-approved foods contain trace amounts of gluten. You may have to make a few alterations in order to go gluten-free on a keto diet. 

You have to avoid a few things in a keto diet such as soy sauce, frozen junk food, low-carb gluten protein products, seasoning mixes, spice blends, among others.

If you follow the keto diet and focus on eating healthy whole foods, you won’t be eating that much gluten anyway.

Going gluten-free in a keto diet also has many other benefits. It steers you away from keto junk food which in turn supports your keto goals such as weight loss.
